Planning Board minutes for Thursday September 22, 2016
- Opened meeting at 7:07 p.m. Members present: Larry Klein, Pat Salomon, Roger Tryon, Stephen Enoch, co-chair, and Maggie Leonard, co-chair.
- The minutes from 9-8-16 were read and Leonard suggested the following amendment to add to III. 3. “The next step is to hold a public hearing to prepare the proposal for a town meeting.” The board approved the minutes as amended.
- The board reviewed the proposed language for definitions for Primary Dwelling Unit (PDU) and Secondary Dwelling Unit (SDU). Klein suggested that the following language be added to section 4.1.2: “Nonconforming lots may apply for a secondary dwelling unit (SDU) through a special permit from the Zoning Board of Appeals.”
- The board made changes to the proposed changes for section 7.3.4: changed Dwelling Unit to plural “Units” and added the word “Minimum” to the column heading “Road Frontage”.
- The board unanimously elected Stephen Enoch to be the Berkshire Regional Planning Commission representative for Monterey. Thank you Stephen!
- The board opened the mail. A couple of public hearing notices from Great Barrington.
- The board unanimously voted to adjourn at 7:47 p.m.
